About CJ Sattler
Founder & CEO, isp.net
CJ Sattler isn’t your average tech founder. He’s a Las Vegas native who was wiring buildings and writing network code while most people were still learning how to send an email. A graduate of Advanced Technologies Academy, CJ developed a fascination early on with how technology connects people. But over time, that interest evolved into a deeper mission: to fix how internet service actually works—for homes, businesses, and entire communities. “I’ve always been fascinated by how pressing a key could spark action miles away,” CJ says. “That magic of connectivity grabbed me early.”

Why isp.net Had to Exist
Frustrated by the usual headaches—spotty service, endless hold times, confusing plans, and fees that never made sense—CJ set out to build a different kind of internet company. In 1994, long before “gigabit” became a buzzword, he founded isp.net to deliver internet the way it should be: fast, human, local, and fair.
“Our mission became clear: make internet service fast, reliable, easy to use, and actually affordable—no tech jargon, no surprises, just solid service that works.”
Today, isp.net is a trusted name for residential users, business owners, large events, and even government infrastructure. It’s not just an internet provider—it’s an independent utility built to serve the needs of Southern Nevada.
Proprietary Tech with a Purpose
While many internet service providers rely on leased infrastructure and vendor platforms, isp.net was engineered differently. CJ built the company’s custom software platform himself, starting in high school. Over the decades, it’s evolved into the real-time intelligence layer of the entire network.
“Because this software is ours, born and bred right here at isp.net, we can tailor it precisely to our needs and, more importantly, to the needs of our Nevada communities.”
This system allows isp.net to detect and fix issues before most customers ever notice. Whether delivering gigabit internet downtown or stabilizing service across wireless last-mile solutions in rural areas, isp.net remains agile and deeply rooted in technical ownership.
A Personal Understanding of Connection
CJ isn’t distant from the product he leads—he lives with it. Quite literally.
“I know this personally. If my mom’s internet, my wife’s, or a friend’s connection flickers for even a minute, my phone lights up. I get it.”
That grounded, personal awareness influences everything from 24/7 local text support to the “On-My-Way” live technician tracker, created so people aren’t left wondering when help will arrive. At isp.net, every service feature exists because CJ or someone close to him has felt the pain of not having it.
Rising to the Challenge When It Mattered Most
When the pandemic hit, connectivity became essential for work, school, and basic communication. isp.net didn’t pause—it expanded coverage, rewrote billing software overnight, and kept families connected.
“When COVID hit and people needed payment flexibility, our team immediately wrote custom code to manage the government assistance programs.”
Those weren’t just technical wins—they were lifelines. For many, isp.net became the reason they could keep their jobs, help their kids continue school, and avoid losing access when they needed it most.
Built for Business, Backed by Accountability
For business owners, reliability isn’t optional—it’s mission-critical. isp.net is designed to meet that standard. The company owns every component of its infrastructure: from fiber lines and towers to data centers and final-mile delivery. There’s no outsourcing, no vendor loops, and no excuses when something needs fixing.
“When something goes wrong, our team doesn’t point fingers—we fix it,” CJ says. “That’s because we built the whole thing ourselves.”
This complete vertical ownership translates to quicker resolutions, more control, and scalable options for companies that can’t afford to be offline.
What’s Next: A Future That Serves More
While isp.net’s foundation is strong, CJ’s not done building. His five-year vision is focused on growing access in Nevada’s underserved communities, increasing network resilience, and expanding their advanced monitoring platform to offer even more self-healing capabilities.
“The goal isn’t just to be fast—it’s to be the most adaptive and reliable local internet solution, whether you're running a business or helping your kids with homework,” CJ explains.
That vision also includes staying close to the human side of technology—continuing to build tools that simplify life, save time, and provide peace of mind.
Connection with Meaning
The pandemic was more than a stress test. It reaffirmed CJ’s belief that internet isn’t just wires and data. It’s about how people live, work, and stay together in a digital world.
“There’s no such thing as ‘just internet’ anymore. It’s how we communicate, how our kids learn, how businesses grow. When it fails, everything else stops. We understand that.”
Being a family-first founder isn’t just a talking point—it’s a perspective that shapes everything isp.net does. Because when you're building something for your neighbors, your friends, and your own family, reliability stops being a goal and becomes a responsibility.
Built in Las Vegas, Built for Las Vegas
Whether you’re managing a business in Summerlin, running a venue downtown, or living in a hard-to-reach rural pocket outside the city, isp.net was designed with you in mind. From gigabit broadband to high-capacity Wi-Fi, all with no hidden fees or finger-pointing; isp.net delivers what matters: strong, stable, trustworthy internet.
“Being local means being accountable—and that’s something our customers can count on.”
