Cómo funciona el internet de microondas fijas
A diferencia del cable o el satélite, nuestro servicio depende de una conexión directa de línea de visión (LOS) con nuestros puntos de presencia (POP) locales. Para establecer este enlace, instalamos un receptor compacto — normalmente del tamaño de un plato — en el punto óptimo de su techo para garantizar una vista despejada.
Una vez montado el receptor, llevamos un cable de red de forma ordenada desde el techo hasta el lugar exacto dentro de su propiedad donde necesita el internet. Aunque la señal dicta la ubicación, nuestros técnicos son expertos en equilibrar la máxima integridad de señal con una instalación limpia y profesional.

Casa unifamiliar
En la mayoría de las casas de Las Vegas, el techo ofrece la línea de visión más clara hacia nuestras torres.
- Sistema de montaje en teja: Utilizamos soportes especializados no invasivos diseñados para deslizarse bajo las tejas, garantizando un agarre seguro sin causar filtraciones ni daños.
- Adaptado a su señal: El tamaño del receptor varía según su distancia de nuestra torre. Usamos la antena más pequeña posible que garantice una conexión estable.
- Cableado limpio: Utilizamos cableado de alta calidad resistente a UV, fijado de forma ordenada para minimizar la visibilidad en las paredes exteriores.
Apartamento (techo compartido)
La opción más limpia para inquilinos. Trabajamos con la administración para instalar un receptor principal en el techo.
- Sin desorden: Nada instalado en su balcón o patio.
- Cableado existente: Utilizamos el cableado interno del edificio siempre que sea posible para llevar el servicio a su unidad.
- Amigable con el edificio: Promovemos este método con las HOAs para preservar la apariencia uniforme del edificio.
Apartamento (balcón)
Si no hay instalación en techo compartido disponible, llevamos la señal a su área de uso exclusivo.
- Sin perforaciones: Utilizamos soportes de abrazadera o trípodes con peso que no dañan barandillas ni paredes.
- Ubicación: El dispositivo debe colocarse donde tenga vista clara de nuestra torre.
- Conforme a OTARD: Totalmente protegido por las regulaciones de la FCC.

Programación y llegada
Una vez aceptada su cotización, puede programar su instalación en línea o por teléfono. Si aún no ha creado una cuenta en el portal, haga clic aquí para crear una o siga el enlace del correo que le enviamos. El día de su cita, recibirá un mensaje de texto con la foto y el perfil de su técnico, además de un enlace de seguimiento en vivo para saber exactamente cuándo llegaremos.

Consulta en el sitio
Las instalaciones suelen tardar de 2 a 3 horas (debe estar presente un adulto mayor de 18 años). Nuestro técnico inspeccionará el techo para encontrar la mejor línea de visión y discutirá las opciones de cableado con usted. Revisamos todo el plan — confirmando calidad de señal y estética — antes de comenzar cualquier trabajo.

Activación y verificación
Una vez montado el equipo, nuestro equipo de ingeniería de red activa su equipo de forma remota para asegurar que cumpla con las especificaciones contratadas. Realizamos pruebas finales de velocidad y verificamos que todos los servicios estén activos y estables antes de irnos.

HOAs, propietarios y la regla OTARD de la FCC
Sabemos que las HOAs pueden ser estrictas. Por eso nuestra primera opción siempre es trabajar con la HOA para una instalación oculta en techo compartido (opción 2 arriba). Se ve mejor para todos.
Sin embargo, si su HOA o propietario no permite una instalación en techo compartido, la regla OTARD de la FCC (Over-the-Air Reception Devices) protege federalmente su derecho a instalar dispositivos de recepción de internet en áreas de uso exclusivo — como su balcón o patio.

I've had ISP.net for 10 years. I'm a residential customer and when I say I've never had an outage or slow uploads/downloads speeds belive me. I kinda chuckle at all the comments out their who have the bigger know names for service when they complain about service, price and reliability I wish I could tell them get ISP.net. pricing is very competitive for the what's out there. If I do need to call about change of email or phone number I speak to someone right away and I love that its a local business. Give them a call and try it out.

So I want to start by saying how insanely busy I am all the time. Im a Chef and I never know which way Im going. Jae (in billing) has continuously been patient with me. Going above and beyond to help me understand everything from payment plans to new contracts and equipment. And honestly when I am confused or frustrated I can be very demanding until I completely understand. Jae never has had a problem emailing or calling to make sure all my paperwork and questions are answered. And I have so many questions lol. You can really tell they love what they do, and I hope they're rewarded often. Because we all know dealing with billing isn't always fun. I do wish there was some promotion I could guarantee Jae with just a review, but selfishly I'll take the help whenever I can get it. The internet has never gone down unless electricity is down. Great, great service. I have had this service a couple years and no problems. And my payment stays the same.
ISP.net's service itself isn't too bad -- the speeds are fairly reliable and I haven't run into many issues. That said, the pricing is definitely on the higher side compared to other options, so that's something to keep in mind. What really makes the difference, though, is their support team. Anytime I've had questions or needed help, they've been quick, professional, and friendly. I especially want to give a shoutout to Jae from the billing department -- absolutely wonderful to work with, super patient, and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Overall, while the cost is a bit steep, the excellent customer support makes the experience much better.
