Searchlight, Nevada · Clark County
Internet in Searchlight — our network on US 95, not a cable build that stopped in the valley.
isp.net serves Searchlight, Nevada. The town sits on U.S. 95 where it meets Nevada 164, ZIP codes 89046 and 89039, about an hour south of the Las Vegas Valley. Cable and fiber plants were not built for a town of this size. We bring our own connection in by fixed wireless and microwave, then turn up a home, a shop, a property Wi-Fi, phones, cameras, or a temporary job from the same Las Vegas network. Call or text 702.900.0000.

Why does a town like Searchlight get skipped?
A mining camp on a desert highway is not a subdivision. The national carriers draw the map where the trenches already are. The house past the pavement, the shop on 95, and the ranch to the west are left with whatever box was easiest to mail.
The cable map ends:
Searchlight is a small Clark County town, 445 people at the 2020 census. A cable build is priced for a street of hundreds of doors, not a saddle between two ranges.
Satellite as the default:
When the trench never comes, the offer is a dish. Weather, upload, and a long path to orbit are the whole plan.
A hotspot is not a house:
Wi-Fi at a store or a passing stop is not a connection for the home on the hill or the business that has to take a card.
Upload that dies on a work call:
People in Searchlight work, run shops, and file from the house. A plan built only for streaming down fails the other direction.
A ticket that cannot drive 95:
When the line is down, an overseas queue does not know the town, the ridge, or the road in.
Event internet that is a router:
A gathering, a job site, or a weekend on the highway needs a real circuit, not a consumer box hoping the cellular tower holds.
What internet does isp.net actually run in Searchlight?
isp.net serves Searchlight on our own network. We do not resell Cox, Spectrum, or AT&T last mile into town. The autonomous system is AS27501. Two redundant datacenters in downtown Las Vegas are the core. The last mile into a Searchlight address is fixed wireless and microwave, aimed where the survey says the path works. How fixed wireless works. How the network is built.
That is the advantage in a town the cable map skipped. There is no trench to wait on. A radio on a surveyed path reaches a house, a shop on U.S. 95, a yard, or a property west of town. Speeds go up to 10 Gbps where line of sight and spectrum allow. The survey tells us what a given address can carry. We do not promise that number at every door.
Searchlight is an unincorporated town in Clark County, founded in 1897 as a mining camp, at about 3,547 feet where U.S. 95 meets Nevada 164. North is Boulder City and the Las Vegas Valley. South is the road toward Needles. West, Nevada 164 runs toward Nipton and Interstate 15. Nevada Historical Marker 116 marks the town. The people here live, work, and take highway traffic. The internet has to do all three.

A mining camp still has to take a call and run a shop
The headframe is the town's history. The work now is the house, the highway business, and the property that sits off the pavement. Those addresses need a connection we can see and a Las Vegas crew that will drive to it. Photo: Stan Shebs, CC BY-SA 3.0.
What can we turn up in Searchlight?
The same isp.net services that run in Las Vegas can be ordered for a Searchlight address when the path works. One local team, 702.900.0000, 24 hours a day.
- HomeNet for the house. No residential data caps on qualifying plans.
- BizNet for the shop, the office, and the business on U.S. 95.
- MultiNet for a small property, a motel, an RV park, or more than one door on one connection.
- AirNet for managed Wi-Fi on the property, not a consumer router in a window.
- VoiceNet for business phones on the same network as the internet.
- VisionNet for cameras on their own lane.
- AccessNet for gates and doors.
- CustomNet for a temporary job, a gathering, or event internet that has to be up that weekend.
- PremiumNet for a dedicated circuit when the address can take one.
Colocation stays in our downtown Las Vegas datacenters. A Searchlight business can still ride our network back to them. Cabling and electrical on a build are under our Nevada C-2 license, #0093716.
West of town is the same job
Walking Box Ranch sits west of Searchlight, on the way toward Nipton. Outlying houses and ranches are where a valley cable map gives up. Fixed wireless is how we reach them: a surveyed path, our network behind it, and a crew in Las Vegas. Photo: Wasteland Wanderer, CC BY 3.0.

Great service and attention to detail. They came in and went through every step with us as a business. Assisted and did everything in their power to help with any concerns and assisted us in moving carriers as well as doing a follow up from start to finish. Everything was done very quickly and with care. The staff were friendly especially our salesperson! Mathew helped the most and was very attentive throughout the whole process and is a great experience in general
Great customer service, the service it self has been great as well. Highly appreciated and recommended. Make sure you ask for Mark when you call, he'll get you all set up.
Carl did an outstanding job installing our new satellite and getting our internet set up. He arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and made sure the entire system was working perfectly before he left. His professionalism, patience, and attention to detail really stood out. We're very grateful for the smooth experience--thank you, Carl!
I've had ISP.net for 10 years. I'm a residential customer and when I say I've never had an outage or slow uploads/downloads speeds belive me. I kinda chuckle at all the comments out their who have the bigger know names for service when they complain about service, price and reliability I wish I could tell them get ISP.net. pricing is very competitive for the what's out there. If I do need to call about change of email or phone number I speak to someone right away and I love that its a local business. Give them a call and try it out.
Service was done in a timely and professional manner. He explained the job intentions and made sure wifi was up and working.
