Cómo funciona Internet fijo por microondas
A diferencia del cable o satélite, nuestro servicio se basa en una conexión de línea de visión (LOS) directa a nuestros puntos de presencia (POP) locales. Para establecer este vínculo, instalamos un receptor compacto, generalmente del tamaño de un plato, en el punto óptimo de su techo para garantizar una vista sin obstáculos.
Una vez que el receptor está montado, pasamos un cable de red cuidadosamente desde el techo hasta la ubicación exacta dentro de su estructura donde necesita que le entreguen Internet. Si bien la señal dicta la ubicación, nuestros técnicos son expertos en equilibrar la máxima integridad de la señal con una instalación limpia y profesional.

Casa unifamiliar
Para la mayoría de las casas Las Vegas, el techo ofrece la línea de visión más clara hacia nuestras torres.
- Sistema de montaje de tejas: Utilizamos soportes especializados no invasivos diseñados específicamente para deslizarse debajo de las tejas, lo que garantiza una sujeción segura sin causar fugas ni daños.
- Ajustado a su señal: El tamaño del receptor varía según su distancia desde nuestra torre. Utilizamos la antena más pequeña posible que garantiza una conexión estable.
- Tendidos limpios: Utilizamos cableado con clasificación UV de alta calidad, cuidadosamente trazado y asegurado para minimizar la visibilidad en sus paredes exteriores.
Apartamento (techo compartido)
La opción más limpia para los inquilinos. Trabajamos con la gerencia para instalar un receptor maestro en el techo.
- Cero desorden: Nada instalado en su balcón o patio.
- Cableado existente: Utilizamos el cableado interno existente del edificio siempre que sea posible para brindar servicio a su unidad.
- Amigable con la construcción: Abogamos por este método con las asociaciones de propietarios para preservar el aspecto uniforme del edificio.
Apartamento (Balcón)
Si una instalación de techo compartido no está disponible, llevamos la señal a su área de uso exclusivo.
- No penetrante: Utilizamos soportes de abrazadera o trípodes con peso que no dañan las barandillas ni las paredes.
- Colocación: El dispositivo debe colocarse donde tenga una visión clara de nuestra torre.
- Cumple con OTARD: Totalmente protegido por las regulaciones de la FCC.
Qué esperar: el proceso de instalación

Programación y llegada
Una vez que se acepte su cotización, puede programar su instalación en línea o por teléfono. Si aún no ha creado una cuenta de portal, haga clic aquí para crear una o siga el enlace en el correo electrónico que se le envió. El día de su cita, recibirá un mensaje de texto con la foto de su técnico, su perfil y un enlace de seguimiento en vivo para que sepa exactamente cuándo esperarnos.

La consulta in situ
Las instalaciones suelen tardar entre 2 y 3 horas (debe estar presente un adulto mayor de 18 años). Nuestro técnico inspeccionará el techo para encontrar la mejor línea de visión y discutirá con usted las opciones de enrutamiento de cables. Revisamos todo el plano, confirmando tanto la calidad de la señal como la estética, antes de comenzar cualquier trabajo.

Activación y verificación
Una vez montado el hardware, nuestro equipo de ingeniería de red incorpora de forma remota su equipo para garantizar que cumpla con las especificaciones solicitadas. Realizamos pruebas de velocidad finales y verificamos que todos los servicios estén activos y estables antes de partir.

Soporte local continuo

HOA, propietarios y la regla OTARD de la FCC
Sabemos que las HOA pueden ser estrictas. Es por eso que nuestra primera opción es siempre trabajar con la HOA para una instalación oculta en un techo compartido (Opción 2 arriba). Se ve mejor para todos.
Sin embargo, si su HOA o su arrendador no permiten una instalación en un techo compartido, la regla OTARD (Dispositivos de recepción inalámbrica) de la FCC protege a nivel federal su derecho a instalar dispositivos de recepción de Internet en áreas de uso exclusivo, como su balcón o patio.

I've had ISP.net for 10 years. I'm a residential customer and when I say I've never had an outage or slow uploads/downloads speeds belive me. I kinda chuckle at all the comments out their who have the bigger know names for service when they complain about service, price and reliability I wish I could tell them get ISP.net. pricing is very competitive for the what's out there. If I do need to call about change of email or phone number I speak to someone right away and I love that its a local business. Give them a call and try it out.

So I want to start by saying how insanely busy I am all the time. Im a Chef and I never know which way Im going. Jae (in billing) has continuously been patient with me. Going above and beyond to help me understand everything from payment plans to new contracts and equipment. And honestly when I am confused or frustrated I can be very demanding until I completely understand. Jae never has had a problem emailing or calling to make sure all my paperwork and questions are answered. And I have so many questions lol. You can really tell they love what they do, and I hope they're rewarded often. Because we all know dealing with billing isn't always fun. I do wish there was some promotion I could guarantee Jae with just a review, but selfishly I'll take the help whenever I can get it. The internet has never gone down unless electricity is down. Great, great service. I have had this service a couple years and no problems. And my payment stays the same.
ISP.net's service itself isn't too bad -- the speeds are fairly reliable and I haven't run into many issues. That said, the pricing is definitely on the higher side compared to other options, so that's something to keep in mind. What really makes the difference, though, is their support team. Anytime I've had questions or needed help, they've been quick, professional, and friendly. I especially want to give a shoutout to Jae from the billing department -- absolutely wonderful to work with, super patient, and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Overall, while the cost is a bit steep, the excellent customer support makes the experience much better.
