Kevin Hayes, 30-year leukemia survivor, chairs the Las Vegas walk
Kevin is a 30-year survivor of leukemia. As an Executive Chair for Light The Night Las Vegas, he is giving his time and experience to drive fundraising and grow turnout. Under his leadership, isp.net is making a major financial donation to Blood Cancer United and asking our employees, partners, and customers to join the fight against blood cancer.

What is Light The Night?
Light The Night is Blood Cancer United's evening walk, held in cities across the US and Canada, to celebrate, honor, and remember everyone touched by blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. Registration is free, and walkers are encouraged to raise money for research and patient support.
Blood Cancer United is the new name of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), which changed its name in August 2025. If you have walked with LLS in Las Vegas before, this is the same event.
What do the lantern colors mean?
- White lanterns are carried by survivors and patients.
- Gold lanterns are carried in memory of someone lost to blood cancer.
- Red lanterns are carried by supporters.
Where the money goes
Money raised at Light The Night funds blood cancer research, free information and support services for patients and families, and advocacy for affordable care. Blood Cancer United has invested more than $2 billion in blood cancer research since 1949. In the U.S., someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer about every three minutes.
