Last Updated: April 12, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the permissible and prohibited uses of the services provided by ISP Industries LLC, doing business as isp.net ("isp.net," "we," "us," or "our"). By activating or using any isp.net services, you agree to abide by, and require others using the Service via your account to abide by, the following terms.

1. General Lawful Use & Prohibited Activities You agree to use isp.net services for lawful purposes only. You are strictly prohibited from using our network, equipment, or integrated solutions to transmit, distribute, or store material that violates any applicable local, state, federal, or international law. Additionally, you may not use the Service to:

  • Harm to Minors: Harm or attempt to harm a minor, including, but not limited to, hosting, possessing, distributing, or transmitting child pornography or other unlawful material.
  • Fraudulent Activity: Take part in any fraudulent activities, including impersonating any person or entity, forging anyone else's digital or manual signature, or conducting/facilitating pyramid or other illegal soliciting schemes.
  • Harassment and Privacy: Invade another person's privacy, stalk, harass, or otherwise violate the rights of others. You may not collect or store personal data about other users without authorization.
  • Offensive Content: Post, transmit, or distribute content that is illegal, threatening, abusive, libelous, slanderous, defamatory, promotes violence, or is otherwise offensive or objectionable in isp.net's sole discretion.

2. Network Security & Integrity

Protecting our network and the data of our users is our top priority. You are solely responsible for the security of any device connected to the Service, including implementing appropriate precautions against threats such as viruses, spam, and malicious intrusions. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Security Bypassing & Hacking: Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system, or breaching security/authentication measures without express authorization. Use or distribution of tools for compromising security, such as password-guessing programs, cracking tools, packet sniffers, or network probing tools, is strictly prohibited.
  • Automated Systems & "Botting": Using the service to run automated scripts, "bots," or scrapers designed to bypass website rate-limits, manipulate online bidding platforms, or gain an unfair advantage on any third-party site.
  • System Interference: Any activity that results in the blacklisting of isp.net IP addresses or interferes with network integrity is grounds for immediate termination.
  • Disruption of Service: Interfering with computer networking or telecommunications services to any user, host, or network, including denial of service (DoS) attacks, flooding of a network, overloading a service, or attempts to "crash" a host.
  • Viruses and Malware: Transmitting any information or software that contains a virus, Trojan horse, worm, or other harmful program. isp.net reserves the right to suspend the Service without prior notice if we detect a harmful program originating from your account.

3. IP Address, Hardware, and Server Restrictions

To maintain network stability and prevent fraud, you must adhere to the following technical restrictions:

  • IP Address Restrictions: You may only access the Service using the dynamic or static Internet Protocol ("IP") address assigned to you by isp.net. You may not configure the Service or equipment to use an unassigned IP address or circumvent Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) assignments.
  • Hardware Tampering: You may not modify any router, antenna, or equipment connected to the isp.net network in order to commit theft of the Service, fraudulently use the Service, or provide the Service to a third party. Modifying the MAC address of any provided hardware is strictly prohibited.
  • Unauthorized Servers: You may not operate, or allow others to operate, servers of any type or any other device/software providing server-like functionality on residential (HomeNet) connections unless expressly authorized in writing by isp.net.

4. Email, Spam, and Communication Abuse

  • Spam & Bulk Email: You may not use the Service to send bulk, commercial, or unsolicited ("spam") email messages.
  • Mail Bombing: The sending of numerous copies of the same or substantially similar messages, or very large messages/files with the intent to disrupt a server or account, is prohibited.
  • Header Forgery: Forging, altering, or removing electronic mail headers is prohibited. You may not reference isp.net in the header or body of an unsolicited email, or list an IP address that belongs to the isp.net network in any unsolicited email.

5. Data Usage and Network Disruption

While isp.net aims to provide high-speed access, you may not transmit such large amounts of data, information, and/or other content beyond typical residential or business usage as may disrupt or cause a performance degradation to the Service or related network infrastructure.

6. Resale, Redistribution, and Commercial Use Restrictions

  • Resale Prohibition: Services are provided for the sole use of the Customer at the registered location. Unless explicitly authorized under a signed Master Service Agreement (MSA) or Service Order, you may not resell, share, or redistribute isp.net bandwidth to any third party or adjacent property (e.g., through an open wireless home network).
  • Commercial Use on Residential Accounts: HomeNet services are designed for personal, residential use. You agree not to use a residential Service for operation as a de facto Internet service provider or for any other intensive business enterprise.
  • Reseller Responsibility: Customers explicitly authorized to redistribute or resell isp.net services are solely responsible for the conduct of their end-users. The Reseller must ensure all end-users comply with this AUP. Any violation by an end-user shall be deemed a violation by the Reseller.

7. Service-Specific Rules

Our specialized network solutions carry specific usage requirements:

  • VoiceNet Fair Use Policy (FUP):
    • Our "unlimited" plans are for standard, interactive voice communication for both residential and business accounts.
    • Usage Thresholds: Usage exceeding 5,000 minutes per month per line is considered "unreasonable use." isp.net reserves the right to transition such accounts to a per-minute billing plan.
    • Auto-Disconnect: To prevent "ghost calls," isp.net reserves the right to automatically disconnect any call exceeding eight (8) consecutive hours.
    • Prohibited Voice Activity: Operating automated predictive dialers, continuous broadcast systems, or illegal robocalling operations is prohibited.
  • AirNet (Wi-Fi): Customers must secure their internal networks. Deliberately operating unsecured or "open" public Wi-Fi networks without utilizing our managed AirNet distribution portal is prohibited.
  • VisionNet & AccessNet: As smart surveillance and access systems, these monitoring tools must be used in accordance with local privacy and surveillance laws. Customers may not use these tools to monitor areas where individuals have a reasonable expectation of privacy without lawful consent.

8. DMCA & Copyright Compliance isp.net complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. You may not use the Service to post, copy, transmit, or disseminate any content that infringes the patents, copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks, or propriety rights of any party. We reserve the right to terminate the service of any Customer who is a repeat infringer of third-party copyrights.

9. Misuse of Service & Enforcement

You may be held responsible for any misuse or abuse of the Service that occurs through your account or IP address, even if such uses are inadvertent or unintended (e.g., if your network is compromised by a third party). Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your services, with or without notice. isp.net reserves the right to investigate suspected violations, which may include cooperating with law enforcement authorities in the investigation of suspected criminal violations.
